Volunteering Events
The Japanese Garden of Peace thrives thanks to the hard work of our wonderful volunteers.
In the warmer months, we host regular volunteering sessions, with upcoming dates listed below. Our activities, including weeding, pruning, and for those seeking a bit of adventure, pond cleaning with waders, change with the seasons. We welcome volunteers of any skill level and age.
All the necessary tools and gloves will be provided, along with guidance and support from a council contractor's representative at each session.
If you are a professional gardener or horticulturist interested in contributing your expertise to our garden, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please reach out through our Contact form, as we are always eager to collaborate with individuals who share our passion for gardening.
